Peer Review Process

Every manuscript submitted to Presisi: Journal of Community Service will undergo the following selection and evaluation stages:

  1. Initial Screening

The editor conducts an initial check to assess the manuscript’s suitability with the journal’s focus and scope, writing format, and originality using plagiarism detection software.

Manuscripts that do not meet the criteria will be returned to the author for revision or rejected.

  1. Review Process

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be sent to two reviewers with expertise relevant to the subject area (double peer review process).

The review is conducted through a double-blind process, where the identities of both the authors and reviewers are kept confidential.

Reviewers will evaluate the following aspects:

  • Originality

  • Clarity of writing

  • Quality and appropriateness of methodology

  • Impact of the community service activity

  • Contribution to the development of scientific knowledge

  • Overall writing quality

  1. Editorial Decision

Based on the reviewers’ evaluations, the editor will decide on one of the following categories:

  • Accepted without revisions

  • Accepted with minor revisions

  • Accepted with major revisions

  • Rejected due to not meeting quality standards or being outside the journal’s scope

  1. Author Revisions

Authors are required to respond clearly and thoroughly to the reviewers’ comments and suggestions in the revised manuscript.

The revision will be re-evaluated by the editor and, if necessary, sent back to the reviewers for further assessment.

  1. Publication

Manuscripts deemed suitable will proceed to the final editing stage (copyediting, layout, and proofreading) before being published online on the journal’s official website.
