Abstract

The patriarchy culture is a culture that is detrimental to women and is always a hot topic in today's era. The article titled "Analysis of Patriarchal Culture on Women in the Film Marlina the Murderer in Four Acts" aims to examine how patriarchal culture influences the actions of female characters in the film. This research will use qualitative research methods to observe the presence of patriarchal culture and analyze it by examining scenes in the film. The article demonstrates the existence of patriarchal culture, acts of sexual violence, and the resistance of female characters that occur in the film through the plot, dialogue, and actions of the characters. This research is expected to provide a better understanding of patriarchal culture towards women depicted in the film.
