ANALISIS SOSIAL MEDIA INSTAGRAM SEBAGAI SOLUSI UNTUK TANTANGAN KESETARAAN GENDER

Abstract

This article aims to explore the role of Instagram in supporting gender equality and public awareness. Instagram is not only a visual platform for sharing moments, but also an important tool for conveying messages about gender equality as wellcompares views and findings with three other articles discussing gender equality and social media. MThe research methodology uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires at Multimedia Nusantara University. The research sample consisted of Computer Engineering students class of 2023. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, inference and verification.This research provides in-depth insight into the role of Instagram in the context of gender equality and motivates readers to understand the social and academic impact of Instagram. As part of the gender equality movement, Instagram provides a space to spread messages, spark discussion and influence social change. In the digital era, understanding the dynamics of gender equality on Instagram can help people maximize the role of social media in supporting positive change
